Manuel "Manny" Diogo Obituary

Manuel H. Diogo, affectionately known as Manny, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on May 14, 1939, in New York, New York, to Manuel Diogo and Rosario DeJesus, Manny leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family and community.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Marty, and their loving children: Laura (Paul) Heagney, Scott (Jamy) Earnest, Jennifer Graziani, Rick (Jenn) Diogo, and Amy (Erick) Delgado. Manny's sister, Sylvia Faulkner, also mourns his loss. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Linda Hicks, Christopher (Heasuk) Heagney, Andrew Earnest, CJ Earnest, Nicholas Graziani, Jillian Graziani, Kyle Diogo, Brooke Diogo, Gianna Delgado, and Christian Delgado, as well as his five great-grandchildren Julian Heagney, Mark Heagney, David Hicks, Jason Hicks, and Lucas Hicks.

Manny earned his degree in pharmacy from the University of Florida, a testament to his commitment to education and service. Fluent in three languages, Manny's versatility and dedication were recognized by the governor of Florida, who honored him for his 50 years of service to the community.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Manny was a man of many talents and passions. He possessed a gift for music, playing the piano beautifully and sharing his talent with others during church services. An avid photographer, Manny had a keen eye for capturing life's precious moments. He found joy in simple pleasures like playing ping pong and exploring new destinations through travel. He also had a true passion for cars, especially the Shelby.

However, Manny's greatest source of happiness was his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving family man, and a pillar of strength and support to all who knew him. His generosity knew no bounds, and his kindness touched countless lives. Manny will be deeply missed by his devoted friends and the community he served.

A service to celebrate Manny's life will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 4-5pm, with a service following at 5pm at Legacy Church, located at 400 Jackson Ave, Green Acres, FL 33463.
